RECLAIM THE LEGACY
BHP proudly collaborates with the High School CEOs program to increase the number of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation businesses in urban communities. This is important because less than 10 % of Black-owned businesses make it to the 2nd generation.
We make free "Financial Literacy" training available at various locations around the globe. And we are the main sponsor of the Young CEOs Millionaire's Business Briefings (see video below).
Black Women are spending over $750 million dollars per month on beauty supplies (wigs, weave, make up, nail polish, lip gloss, etc.). Over 95% of those dollars are spent with Non Black Owned Businesses. Hardly none of those dollars make it back into our community. The Black Hair Project is dedicated to getting those dollars back into our community.
OUR MISSION
Is to provide a pathway for Economic Reciprocity in the multi-billion dollar Black Hair Industry. The way we do this is by providing access to information and education, and producing events where these solutions are present. BHP collaborates with other organizations and individuals that share this vision.
